Indicative conversion to UK terms — not a live FX rate. Tuition is billed in the destination currency, so exchange-rate moves change your real cost.

Rehearse your visa interview

Education loans are sanctioned against a co-applicant's income and collateral, not the student's. Lenders check the co-applicant's tax record — estimate it with the Nepal tax calculator and have their ITR + tax-clearance ready.

Indicative estimate only, assuming a fixed rate and equal monthly instalments (reducing-balance method). The moratorium model is simplified (interest either capitalises or is serviced monthly); real schemes vary in how interest accrues during study. Processing fees, insurance, valuation charges, and FX movement on overseas fees are not fully modelled. Confirm exact figures with your bank before you commit. Abroad Ready.ai is not a lender and does not provide financial advice.

How EMI is calculated

We use the standard reducing-balance formula: EMI = P · r · (1+r)ⁿ ÷ ((1+r)ⁿ − 1), where P is the loan amount, r is the monthly rate, and n is the number of months. Early instalments are mostly interest; later ones are mostly principal.

Built for education loans

Model the study + grace period (moratorium) when no EMI is due, choose whether interest is added to the loan or paid monthly, and add a processing fee. See the loan and EMI in your destination currency, and a checklist of the documents a Nepali bank will ask for.

Why it matters for visas

UK and US student-visa officers probe how you will fund your studies and repay borrowing. Knowing your real monthly burden makes your funding story specific and credible — the same things our mock interviews score you on.

Funds sorted. Now rehearse the questions.

A clear repayment plan is half the funding story. Practise saying it out loud in a rubric-graded UK or US mock interview — sign up in under a minute, no card.
